Toyota Coaster Storage Renovations

One of the biggest challenges of living full-time in a bus isn’t finding space…

It’s making the space you have actually work.

When I bought my Toyota Coaster, some of the storage solutions were fantastic, but after living in the bus for a while I started to realise there were opportunities to improve how things work in practical everyday life.

Things were hard to access.

Some spaces weren’t being used well.

And, like most tiny homes, every centimetre mattered.

This renovation is about redesigning the storage in my bus to make it more practical, organised and easier to live with.

I’ll be looking at:

  • removing old cupboards and making better use of the space
  • designing custom storage solutions
  • creating places for everyday items, tools and camera gear
  • finding a home for my portable washing machine
  • improving how I live and work inside a small space

Of course, because this is my bus build, things probably won’t go exactly to plan!

Follow along as I pull things apart, make mistakes, solve problems and hopefully create a storage system that works better for life on the road.

Below you’ll find the articles and videos following this renovation journey.
