Why would a girl who usually barely engages online, and in fact actively avoided it in the past, start a blog?

Last year I had a little forced slow down which has given me some time to think about what is really important in life and what I want in mine.

I have been doing a bit of research into what makes people happy. What I keep finding over and over is, there is a secret….ssshhh, dont tell anyone…. happiness is about community.

I will publish some detail about why I came to that conclusion in another post. There are some fascinating studies.

It turns out, it doesn’t matter how much money or stuff or friends on Facebook you have, what really makes people happy long term is feeling part of a community, and probably more than one.

So I thought, lets start a community. How hard could that be???

I’m starting this blog to create somewhere to connect with people, to hang out, get to know each other, chat, share some positive ideas and help each other out.

Of course when I said dont tell anyone, really I do want you to tell anyone and everyone you think might be interested. Its going to be a bit hard to have a conversation if I’m the only one here. So invite your friends, the more the merrier.

Come on…this is going to be fun.
